Getting started
Create your account, set up or join a workspace, and collect your first invoices.
Create your account
- Open Create account and enter your email.
- Add your name and a password with at least 8 characters, entered twice.
- Enter the 6-digit code from your email. You are signed in as soon as it is accepted.
Create or join a workspace
Choose Create a new organization, enter its name and country (its time zone follows the country), optionally its address and VAT or company number, and choose the first month of invoices you want to collect. Your starting month is used for the initial Vercel import. If you signed up with a business address such as emil@companyname.com, the organization name is proposed from it; change it if it is not your company.
Two short steps follow. Your forwarding email shows the address kvitr made from your organization name (your email’s company name when the organization name gives nothing usable): forward any invoice or receipt to it, or give it to suppliers as your billing email. Connect your sources lists every source you can connect right away; skip it and come back to Integrations whenever you like. You then land on Home.
If a teammate has invited you, choose Join an existing organization and paste the invitation link. Sign in with the email address the invitation was created for.
Collect your first invoices
Open Integrations under Suppliers and choose New integration. Vercel starts collecting after the connection is saved. For a mailbox or billing dashboard, choose Sync on the connection.
Connected sources are listed on Integrations with a column each for the source, its name, how it collects, its status and what it is doing. Give a connection a name in the Name column so several accounts of the same service tell each other apart; it saves when you leave the field.
Open Invoices to see everything collected, newest first; Group: Supplier lists one row per company instead, and Clear filter takes you back to the whole list. Select an invoice number to review the original PDF and its fields. When the suggested fields are complete nothing is needed from you; if you open the invoice anyway, Approve confirms the reading and Save reviewed fields saves your changes.
Find your way around
The sidebar opens Home (a greeting; Overview, with how many receipts arrived in the last seven days and your To do; Systems, with each connected service and your forwarding email and when each last collected or received something; and the Feed down the right: the newest invoices, and one line for each upload of older invoices that links to them; connecting a source is a to-do until one is connected), Invoices (your invoices as folders per supplier or month, with the chosen PDF beside them; the switch in the bar opens the list instead), Suppliers (every supplier as a row, with Edit, its invoices and its integrations in the ⋮ at the end of the row), Integrations under Suppliers (the connected sources and everything kvitr can collect from), the Inbox (the invoices kvitr could not match on its own, beside the one you are looking at), and Settings (your company, your forwarding email, members, your account and, at the bottom, Spending: the total expense and the number of invoices for a period, every currency added up in the one you choose there — converted at fixed exchange rates, so treat it as an estimate — and the total opens Reports). The menu at the bottom of the sidebar switches organizations and holds Account, Settings, API, MCP, Advanced rules, these docs (Docs) and sign out. On a phone, open the sidebar with the menu button; on a large screen there is no top bar and no breadcrumbs, and the sidebar shows which section you are in.
Members in Settings is where your workspace owner creates invitations. Account in Settings lets you change your password or sign out other devices.
If you cannot sign in
Check that you are using the email you registered with and have entered its verification code. Check your spam folder if the message has not arrived. Codes expire after ten minutes; signing in with an unverified account sends a new code.
Use Forgot password to request a reset link. After resetting, sign in again with the new password.
