What’s new

Recent changes to collecting, reviewing, and organizing invoices in kvitr.

September 7, 2026

  • Sign-up verification is a 6-digit code entered on the same screen; no link to open. Each workspace has an email address on Connect: forward invoices to it or use it as your billing email, and PDF attachments are collected on arrival.
  • Connected sources and suppliers are one list on Suppliers: a connected service shows its sync status in its row, and the row menu holds sync, reconnect, history and disconnect. The separate Integrations page is gone. Suppliers carry printed details (legal name, address, country, email, company ID) with known services filled in, and expense types follow a general chart of accounts.
  • A new Organize page shows Departments, Projects and your custom category as blocks with inline add. Settings → Members is where people get access. Suppliers edits every supplier’s Type, Department and Project in place; details open in a side panel.
  • Cloudflare joins Vercel as an automatic API source (beta). The Connect page is one searchable grid with method tags and connection counts, and connected sources show a green dot.
  • Home is new: this period’s cost, invoices and sources at a glance, shortcuts, and the newest invoices. The invoice list moved to Invoices.
  • Connect a source is its own overview page reached from Suppliers, with short numbered steps in each connect dialog.
  • Reports open with a period selector, a monthly bar chart stacked by group, and totals per collection source. The rebilling flag and To invoice list were removed; group by Project to follow client costs.
  • Accountants can create their own account and see every client workspace on the new Clients page, with this month’s counts and totals.
  • Invoice review shows the PDF at full width beside a sticky fields column. Value highlights are off until you turn them on from the invoice’s menu.
  • Department, Project, and category pickers are searchable, and owners can add a new choice by typing its name. Type, Department and Project are edited directly in the Suppliers table.
  • Integrations lists each available source on one line, and service icons are the services’ own marks. The sidebar keeps workspaces, account, and sign-out in one menu at the bottom, with a collapse control next to the Guide.
  • Documentation now has separate guides for setup, integrations, invoice review, suppliers, reports, workspace access, and privacy.
  • Clearer, consistent text styles make forms, tables, and guides easier to read.
  • A sidebar keeps invoices, suppliers, reports, integrations, and Settings within reach. On phones, use the menu button.
  • Workspace and team management are together in Settings, with a simpler create-or-join setup.
  • Historical Vercel imports continue in the background, followed by daily collection.
  • Invoice review places the original PDF beside editable fields. Supplier defaults and cost reports help organize the results.
  • Invoice email forwarding has been removed. Original PDFs remain available to view and download.
